Presentation Check

Your presentation is ready, but does it really persuade?

Your presentation is almost finished. And that’s exactly when the doubt sets in. Is everything clear enough? Is there too much in it? Will my message land? Does my audience understand why this matters?

A Presentation Check gives you a strategic outside view, before the moment that counts. No advice on taste. No long programme. Just a sharp analysis of your story, your structure and your slides. You often only get one chance. Don’t let your presentation make that chance smaller.

Sometimes you just can’t see it any more

You’re so deep into it. The expertise, the details, the context that seems obvious to you but not to your audience. You no longer know what you can leave out and what absolutely has to stay. The presentation grows, but the clarity doesn’t.

That’s not a weakness. That’s tunnel vision. And you won’t solve it by clicking through your own slides three more times.

Sometimes you just can't see it any more

What clients say

Esty Maricou

Account manager – Vandelanotte

“I took the presentation training at Presentation Lab, combined with a Presentation Check. Reinhilde took me into a world of humour, visualisation, stories and practical techniques that really stick. What stayed with me most is the shift from thinking from the speaker’s point of view to thinking from the audience’s point of view: less about what we want to say, more about what the audience needs, and above all how to tackle that in practice. The combination of concrete examples and immediate application to our own presentation made the training particularly valuable. When reworking our presentation, I saw step by step how the suggested changes had the desired effect: less side information, more focus and more relevance for the target audience. The speaking tips and insights on presentation skills also gave me more confidence to stand in front of an audience.

“I learned a surprising amount. Added value more than proven.”

“A critical look at your slides and concrete tips to improve them, so you can present complex material clearly and persuasively. I could put it into practice straight away.”

    Targeted improvements. Presenting with confidence.

Your presentation is almost finished. But you’re not entirely at ease with it. Is there a clear line running through it? Is the message strong enough? And will your audience follow your story?

That’s what the Presentation Check is for: a strategic intervention at the moment your presentation is there, but not quite right yet.

A colleague can read along. I look at it as a presentation strategist. I look for the common thread, test your key message and look through your audience’s eyes. What do they need to understand? What persuades them? And where are they likely to switch off?

You discover where your presentation loses power and which changes make the biggest difference. And you feel that when you stand in front of your audience: you know your story works. That gives confidence. And calm.

A strategic look at your presentation

A presentation that doesn’t work costs opportunities

If your audience isn’t persuaded, you lose more than you think. A budget that isn’t approved. A pitch that fails. Support for your project that never comes. Then €950 for a sharp, strategic look is not a luxury. It costs less than thinking afterwards: I wish I’d had this looked at sooner.

    How the Presentation Check works

Thanks to my years of experience with hundreds of presentations, briefings and slide decks, I can quickly see where presentations go off track: a key message that isn’t sharp yet, an intro that doesn’t grab attention straight away, too much information, an audience that doesn’t feel the relevance, or slides that hide your story rather than support it.

Who is the Presentation Check for?

For anyone who wants to sharpen a presentation: still in preparation, completely finished or already given, but it didn’t land the way you hoped.

During the introduction, we look at what your presentation needs. If the problem lies in the foundation of your story, I sometimes recommend the From knowledge to story module first. That saves budget, and you’ll benefit from it in every presentation that follows.

A strong presentation in 5 clear steps

    1. Short introduction
First, a short call with no obligation. We look at whether the Presentation Check fits your question, or which route works better.

    2. Send me your material
You send your draft slides or document, together with some background: who’s in the room, what do you want to achieve and what are you still unsure about? The more complete your input, the more targeted my analysis.

    3. The first call: going deeper
Based on your material and input, we discuss where your presentation gets stuck. I use targeted material from my presentation training, tailored to what I already see in your presentation. This lays the foundation for making your story clearer and stronger.

    4. My strategic thinking
Between the calls, I do the work. I restructure your story, bring in more focus and look at where your presentation can connect better with your audience’s world.

    5. The second call: your strategic rework
You get concrete feedback and a clear direction to develop your presentation further.

    The result?
You step onto the stage or into the meeting room with more confidence, with a story that persuades better and achieves its goal.

    From €950 excl. 21% VAT
The price depends on how much preparatory work is needed. After the introduction, you get a fixed price, so you know where you stand in advance.
