You know what you mean. Your audience is thinking: where is this going?

Thirty years of advertising and presentations for pharma, healthcare and B2B. Presentation Lab turns information dumps into a story that persuades.

Why do most presentations evaporate straight away?

I see it happen time and again: someone has strong content, a lot of knowledge and something real to say. And yet the presentation loses its audience. The story disappears under the weight of completeness.
Today, AI adds to that. Quickly generated, neatly formatted, and still exactly the same problem. Without a method, AI doesn’t make the mess smaller. It makes it faster.
That’s where my work begins. I’m Reinhilde Schraepen. I help professionals turn a mountain of input, knowledge and AI output into a clear, persuasive story that sticks.

Hundreds of presentations later

After ten years at advertising agencies, I spent twenty years building RS Communication, a strategic and creative agency for pharma, healthcare and B2B. Presentations were the most important part of that work.
In advertising, everything revolves around one sharp idea and visual persuasion. I carried that over to presentations. The key message drives everything. What do you show? What do you leave out? Where does the audience need to end up? And above all: why would anyone keep listening?

Speaker telling a story and engaging the audience during a presentation

Somewhere in that tangle is the story.

Clients often came in with a pile of input: PDFs, loose bullet points, charts, and the question: “Can you make something of this?” Yes, gladly. That’s when I feel a bit like Sherlock Holmes. Not a murder case, but a file full of clues to unravel.

I ask questions you often no longer ask yourself. What is the most important finding here? Why should this audience do something with it? What seems obvious to you that your audience doesn’t know yet? And what does your audience need to be persuaded?

That story is usually hidden under too much context, too many details and too few choices.

Why one presentation sticks and another doesn't

Why one presentation sticks and another doesn’t

Too much text, busy slides, too many charts: those are usually symptoms. I prefer to look at the logic underneath. Why isn’t this working? What’s missing in the story? Where does the audience lose the thread?
Over the past few years, I wanted to really understand that. I analysed the structures of strong speakers, borrowed techniques from film scripts and advertising, and looked at what makes TED Talks powerful.
More recently, I also looked closely at what AI can and can’t do here, and above all where it falls short. That’s how my training grew: a method you can apply again and again, with or without AI. For every presentation still to come.

The Presentation Toolkit: for every presentation still to come

All my experience with complex content, years of research into what makes a presentation strong, and what AI does and doesn’t deliver: I brought it all together in one system, the ‘Presentation Toolkit’.
Not a collection of loose tips, but a method to make choices faster, sharpen your core message, apply storytelling, and know when AI helps you and when it sends you down the wrong path. You build slides that really carry your story, instead of hiding it.

Rather have someone do it for you?

Sometimes you don’t have time to figure it all out yourself. Then I also create custom presentations: from raw input to a clear story and professional slides.
