A presentation in two minutes: AI can do it today. Genspark, Gemini, NotebookLM, Gamma, GPT for Slides, and language models like Claude are all being used for it now. The range of tools is growing faster than anyone can keep up with.
AI makes things easier for us. And at the same time, it makes mediocrity easier.
Tasting is a craft
A winemaker doesn’t make great wine because he happens to have good grapes. He makes great wine because he has mastered the craft. And above all: because he tastes before he bottles.
It’s the same with AI. Knowing whether a presentation is good takes something other than knowledge of your subject. It takes knowing what makes a presentation strong. Can you spot the rubbish in what AI serves you?
Whichever tool you choose: none of them decides for you what your audience needs.
Five things AI won’t solve for you
Choose first, then AI
Do you know what you need for each of these five? Then AI suddenly becomes very handy. The convenience is in the execution, not in the thinking.
So don’t use AI as the end point, but as a tool after you’ve made your choices. First know who your audience is, what your key message is, in what order you’ll present it and where the resistance lies. Then put AI to work.
In short
Let AI pick the grapes. But taste it yourself before you bottle.
Not sure whether your AI presentation passes the test? With the Presentation Check, we taste together what’s strong and what needs to go. In the training, you get the Presentation Toolkit, with all the criteria to judge any AI presentation yourself.
